Announcement #18 - Building our own RPC, FP talk

Currently, our market stats data depends on Magic Eden, and it gives us a lot of limitations. It's slow, we are getting rate-limited often and sometimes it's just unreliable.

For the past few weeks we were doing R&D (research and development) on how to overcome this issue. Yesterday, I had a two hours call with a our 2 core developers, and after doing some experiments, we decided it's time to move on.

We are building our own RPC that will give us ability to listen for all Solana Blockchain events directly. We could use third-party RPC services, but we decided to build our own.

I am super excited about this, and I know that most of non-technical people might not understand what this will mean for Moonly. But this will open door to real-time stats that comes directly from Solana network, and it will also open door for many important and missing features.

For example, Portfolio tracker, whale tracker, sniping bot, live feed and many other things we planned, and one that we didn't think of yet.

It will also open the doors for the future that we become RPC provider and sell our services. Think about it like Node Monkey or Shadow Super Coder (SSC).

I will share more info about this when it times come, but know that we already started working on it.

📈 Solana Price goes UP, NFT prices goes DOWN 📉

Yesterday was a red day for most of the projects, and for Moonly as well when it comes to the floor price. It's a usual thing that happens every time the Solana price rise up, people are looking to liquidate their assets to make a profit in fiat/stable. It's a good thing.

But some people are actually using this opportunity to buy and accumulate even more. Because 1 Solana = 1 Solana, and they are here for long term benefits.

I will personally sweep some floor and invest in my own project while it's cheap. I know the guy behind this project :P, and he told me his plan 😉

But overall I honestly don't worry or care about FP now. I know where we are going and that Moonly will be big, and it's impossible to share my whole vision just like that, but you will feel it through our execution. Because that is what it's matter at the end. Ideas are nothing without execution.
